World Changers

The Challenge

Building a brand for a church to reach the marginalized in South Georgia

Mike and Kristine came to me with the God-given vision of planting a physical church in the deep South that could minister in ways this lovingly traditional community had never seen. They had been using a borrowed brand from their parent supporter but wanted something more unique and relevant to their audience along with messaging that would resonate.

The Discovery

To discover their uniqueness and how to position them amongst the abundance of churches in the area, we spent a full-day together with their leadership team in four ninety-minute brand strategy workshops. These workshop sessions were a dialogue of their core purpose, mission, vision, values, competition, differentiation, and personality.

From our conversation, the core brand statements and brand story began to emerge, along with the archetypes, logos, and sub-brands. The breadth of the brand became real for them as we saw it implemented. The brand book we built would serve to align their team on how and where to show up in a way that was consistent.

“Through her calming guidance and wisdom, Jen created a space where we felt comfortable sharing our deepest vision for our church. She masterfully helped us understand our audience on a profound level – not just who they are, but how to genuinely connect with them.”
